Vintage flashcards are one of my favorite things to collect, so I thought they would be perfect for the first giveaway of Customer Appreciation Week. I picked through my flashcard collection and chose a set of 18 - all vintage and most not even available in the shop.
Here is a peak at some of my favorites included.
To enter, simply share something you collect. Perhaps you have vintage vase collection, or pick up every aqua green teacup you find. Entries will be accepted through Sunday, August 2 at 12noon. Winner will be announced on Monday, August 3.

I would love a set of these to use for scrapbooking! :) I have a small collection of the Willow Tree figurative sculptures...I just love the simple beauty of them.
ReplyDeleteThose are great things to giveaway! I'm hosting my own contest on my site. You can win a signed, limited edition print of my newest illustration.
ReplyDeleteI collect vintage Soviet Era holiday postcards. I love the colors and the modern designs. These flashcards are great!
ReplyDeleteKids books, old globes, funky hair clips. And cards I buy intending to give away and just end up keeping for myself. It's a problem.
ReplyDeleteI love these flashcards... especially since I collect paper :)
ReplyDeleteI love your products and your blog! (Just had to say it...) I collect oh so many things, but right now, I'm really liking old/strange B&W photos that I dig out of boxes in dusty antique stores. :)
ReplyDeleteI WANT EVERYTHING! :)
ReplyDeleteAs for collecting, I most recently collect owls and unique owl-printed items. Being the literature geek that I am, I suppose you could also say that I collect books. :)
I also have an unfortunate habit of collecting disappointing ex-boyfriends, but what can ya do.
Great idea!
ReplyDeleteI collect strings of fabric ties from packagings and gifts that I get. I keep thinking I will have something to do with them. I also collect buttons, and again, for the same reason, to one day have a brilliant idea of something to do with buttons :)
Lately... it's been fabric. Vintage, the stuff at Jo-Ann's. I can't keep my hands off of it. Now what to do with it... :P
ReplyDeleteOh dear! I collect all things cute! ...lately it's been buttons...I lloooooove buttons!! Also, funky vintage tablecloths and unique quilt tops...they are great for picnics! I also have a small collection of vintage flashcards, and love them lots....mine aren't as unique as yours, though. Very cute!!

ReplyDeleteWhat don't I collect? I feel like I have tons of things in multiples. But two of my favorite collections are Hello Kitty things and Christmas ornaments. I love Hallmark and vintage ornaments.
I collect squished pennies--from those souvenir machine dealies where you put in two quarters and a penny, turn the crank, and voila!--squished penny with the imprint of whatever attraction you're visiting. Silly, I know! But it's something I started as a kid and I still get giddy every time I find a new one! Latest is from Circus Circus hotel & casino in Vegas. ;)
ReplyDeleteI collect purple Pyrex dishes. I have a HUGE collection and can even tell you that there are two purple colors of Pyrex a purple/blue color and a purple/pink color. Whenever i see a piece i pick it up because i absolutely love it!!!

I love this giveaway, and I collect both vintage papers written in Italian (since that's what I work in) and journals/cards with really cool graphics on them. because I love graphics.
ReplyDeleteThose flashcards are just awesome >.<
ReplyDeleteWell, and as for me, i collect books. i just love the smell of a new book. I've quite a few now, but i know, that someday, i'll have my own house 'little library' ;D
Oh, and i also collect black cats. My room is all decorated with them. Posters, clocks, pillows, etc.
I love seeing what people collect! I have many collections. I like to collect coloured glass and put it in the window sill so that people going by on the train have something pretty to look at.
ReplyDeleteI collect vintage glass ink bottles and old cameras. (And scrapbook supplies, but that shouldn't really count, should it?!)
ReplyDeleteSo cool!
ReplyDeleteIt's a slow going collection, but everytime we travel somewhere I buy a ring. Since we're poor and in college, I make it a general goal to keep it under $20, and that usually makes me look at some really cool and unique rings. I love having them and a little memory!
i collect miniature anything, i love setting up little worlds!

ReplyDeletewhat a fantastic giveaway!
ReplyDeletei've collected vintage and antique buttons since high school. it's sort of a family tradition -- i have several beautiful hand-cut shell buttons from my great grandmother's collection.
recently i've also been collecting white porcelain vases. i find them at thrift stores for less than a quarter. they have such wonderful shapes and look great in small clusters!
ohhhh i love giveaways!!
ReplyDeleteI collect watches (used to work in a watch store, but lately i've been trying to cut back my collection) and old picture frames. the more peeling paint the better.
I collect nuns. figurines, nesting dolls, rubber stamps, antique dolls, salt n pepper shakers, anything with a nun on it.
ReplyDeleteI'm not much of a collector because I don't like a lot of clutter. One thing I do collect is PAPER! I love paper, and can't help but continue to buy more even though I have enough to last a life time. It's just so pretty!
ReplyDeleteI collect buttons. Massive amounts of buttons!
ReplyDeleteAlso Skate shoes by DC, and Dakine bags. I just can't get enough :)
